Landlord Committee Members Run For Safety As Badoo Killer Gang on Rampage

The killer gang of the deadly group popularly known as Badoo recently unleashed its fang again in llogbo community in Ifo Local Government, Ogun State, Nigeria leaving several people dead and many severely injured in the vicinity.

According to an eyewitness, the whole trouble started when the people in that environment resisted the group from gaining entrance to the community, knowing fully well their stock in trade is usually to wreck havoc anywhere they are. However, their counterattack ultimately led to bloodshed, killing, and destruction of properties that worth millions of naira on that faithful day.

The incident was just one such dastardly acts perpetrated in that community by this deadly group.

In June 2017 a teacher, Mr isaac Odejare, lost his life in a similar situation. Odejare, an easygoing person who was unaware that the group members had been trailing him, fell victim on his way back to his house as he was matched severally over his body. Efforts to save his life failed as he gave up the ghost on the way to a nearby hospital.

Before the killing, a source explained that a strange appearance of the boys was noticed in February 2017.

Due to the above unfortunate incident, a source said a meeting was held in the palace, where a Landlord committee under the leadership of Mr Ikotun was ordered to write a petition to the commissioner of police. A copy of the police report made available to this medium is indicated below

Unfortunately, however, before the heated storms over the first incident could settle, a single mother and her baby also lost their lives, leading to a riot

during which two persons were arrested and one killed.

The woman, coming to the community from an outing, unknowingly entered the midst of this killer group and was attacked. Though she raised an alarm but she was overpowered before the community members could come to her aid.

Surprisingly, however, when another meeting was held, it was discovered that those boys had written the names of the landlord executive down for execution. The affected landlords included Ikotun JA, Ojo.R, Adelomo.l, Adedoyin.A, Ajayi I and Ejilade. B.

Since then, a source said there had been serious threats on them and their families, making them flee for safety from the community.

 Even with the vigilance of the community members, the group has remained relentless as its members continue to lay ambush for them, pasting their logo everywhere and writting threat letters to community, a situation that continues to scare them from the community.

However, while some were very lucky, one of the executives.Adedoyin Adeniyi, was killed by the Badoo group when he returned home on December 6th,2018.He was trailed to his destination and hacked down helplessly.
