A vulcanizer Onyema Okonkwo and his friend stormed the girl’s room, had turns to forcefully penetrate her but unfortunately, the girl recognized one of them, and when they noticed their cover has been blown and in order to cover their traces, they beheaded the victim and fled.

As luck may have it, the dying nurse managed to injure one of the killers on the face, which helped the youths to trace the crime to the perpetrators, leading to their arrest on Saturday.

The suspects have been transferred to the the State Criminal Investigations Department in Owerri for further investigation.
