THE MONARCH OF ADO KINGDOM HRH KABIYESI BARRISTER AMISU SOLA TIJANI IS FINALLY LAID TO REST
The Monarch of Ado Kingdom, KabiyesiAmisu Tijani II, has been buried in Sagamu, south-west Nigeria.His remains were laid to rest on Sunday 12th January 2025, within the premises of the Palace, barely 10 days after he was certified dead in an undisclosed hospital in Ogun State.
Kabiyesiwas 71 years as of the time his death was announced.
Following the announcement of his demise, Christianity rites were conducted on the body of the late Monarch, signaling the beginning of his final journey home.
Clergy clerics, some family members of the late traditional ruler and some of his chiefs were on ground to offer prayers for the repose of his soul.
After the prayers, his body was taken back to the palace where the final burial was held.
Aclose relative of the Monarch, confirmed the burial of the monarch. However, there are speculations that HRH KabiyesiAmisu Sola Tijani didn’t die naturally, however the police are still investigating his death. Perhaps in the coming days, we will get a confirmation of what led to the Monarch’s demised.
The Palace of the Late Monarch was locked down as sympathizers trooped in to catch a glimpse of the corps of the late Monarch KabiyesiAmisu Sola Tijani who was interred at about 3:55pm.
He will be greatly missed by his family and the people of Ado in Sagamu, as he was loved by many, despite the controversy surrounding his death.
