THE Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has clarified that the aircraft’s return to Lagos was precautionary and fully in line with global aviation safety standards, dismissing reports suggesting a near-disaster.
According to the statement by David Okon, Consultant, QUADRANT, the NCAA confirmed that the aircraft landed normally and safely, with no injuries or operational incidents.
“The story includes on-record comments from the NCAA’s Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu, on X, alongside the airline’s official response,” the statement said.
