The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results of candidates who sat for the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released before midnight on Friday.
The board disclosed this in a statement signed by its Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, noting that candidates who participated in the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026, would be able to access their results once processing is completed later in the day.
According to JAMB, the release is part of its ongoing result processing schedule for the nationwide examination. It confirmed that an official announcement will be made on its platforms as soon as the results become available.
The statement read in part that all candidates who sat for the first day of the UTME should expect their results to be published before midnight once final checks are concluded.
