1. EQUITIES MARKET
Nigerian Equities Market closed positive as the key market indicator advanced by 131.64 bps amid negative market breadth.
The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.24% to close at 54,496.31 basis points as against a 0.07% gain recorded previously to close at 54,364.67 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N71.7bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +6.33%
The total volume traded advanced by 26.33% to close at N177.92m, valued at N5.69bn and traded in 3,617 deals. BUAFOODS was the most traded stock by volume with 50.01m units traded while BUAFOODS was the most traded stock by value which is put at N3.72bn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as nine (9) NGX sector index closed northward, five (5) sector index closed southward and four (4) closed flat. The NGX PREMIUM index advanced by 0.52% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX Banking Index declined by 0.53% to top the losers’ chart.
