1. EQUITIES MARKET
Nigerian Equities Market closed positive as the key market indicator advanced by 37.37 bps amid positive market breadth.
The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.07% to close at 54,364.67 basis points as against a 0.06% loss recorded previously to close at 54,327.30 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N20.35bn gain.

YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +6.08%.
The total volume traded declined by 19.82% to close at N140.84m, valued at N3.16bn and traded in 3,553 deals. UBA was the most traded stock by volume with 28.62m units traded while DANGCEM was the most traded stock by value which is put at N812.89m
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as thirteen (13) NGX sector index closed northward, one (1) sector index closed southward and four (4) closed flat. The NGX Oil and Gas index advanced by 0.98% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGXMERIGRW declined by 0.29% to top the losers’ chart.
The Gote index closed flat at 141.06 basis points while the Toni index advanced by 0.35% to close at 125.24 basis points.
At the close of trading, the market recorded 18 gainers to 8 losers and 85 unchanged. CONOIL topped the list of gainers while CWG topped the list of losers.
Thus, market breadth closed positive as the Market Breadth Index (MBI) is put at 0.12x.
