Nigerian Equities Market closed positive as the key market indicator advanced by 17.15 bps amid negative market breadth
The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.04% to close at 48,899.08 basis points as against a 1.07% gain recorded previously to close at 48,881.93 basis points at the end of the last trading session. In Naira terms, the NGX Market CAP records a N9.34bn gain.
YTD, the NGXASI Stands at +14.47%
The total volume traded advanced by 134.65% to close at 236.59m, valued at N2.52bn and traded in 3,334 deals. ACCESSCORP was the most traded stock by volume with 120.98m units traded while ACCESSCORP was also the most traded stock by value which is put at N1.03bn
Sectoral performance was broadly positive as ten (10) NGX sector index closed northward, four (4) closed southward and four (4) closed flat. The NGX Banking index advanced by 0.47% to top the gainer’s chart while the NGX Insurance index declined by 0.61% to top the losers’ chart.
